Saturna Island

The most southern of the Gulf Islands and fairly large in area, sparsely populated Saturna Island is a very special place to visit. There are no camping facilities on the Island, however, there are several bed and breakfasts and resort cabins and reservations are advised. Boaters can dock at the government wharf. Great hiking opportunities and a casual pace make Saturna Island the ideal destination for anyone truly wanting to escape from daily pressures:

  • Cycle along East Point Road beside Georgia Strait and take in the incredible view of the towering mainland mountains.
  • Plan a picnic and hike up Mount Warburton Pike.
  • Visit Winter Cove Marine Park.
  • Greet the locals at the pub and general store at Saturna Point.
